AG DAY: 10. Finishing my wreath

Tomorrow I am going to bring my wreath to school. 

I cut the flowers that I grew. The White one was called a snap dragon. The black and orange ones were pansies. And the other one was grass. It was beach grass like Nemo likes.

I made the wreath. I put the flowers in oasis. They are like sponges. 

We got some orange flowers from mummy's garden. They were called Clivia. 

I put in some succulents too. I grew those from a while from my friend. 

Mummy and me used the glue gun. Mummy got the glue on her hand it was hot. She went "ouch". We glued on my fish and some sea weed. 

It looks cool. 

AG DAY 9: Making the base of my wreath

I sorted out the beach stuff for my wreath. I made four piles: driftwood, shells, sponges and other bits. 

I like the sponges!

I found a real snail in the drift wood! I put it outside. I put it out carefully not throw it!

I am laying my wreath. 

I put the oasis in the wreath to make it fit. 

I put the screw in the wreath. Dad screwed it with his drill so it doesn't fall off. 

My wreath is ready. I will put Nemo and the decorations and the plants on it on Wednesday. 

AG DAY: 8. Painting my decorations

I painted my finding nemo decorations. I looked on my mums phone to see the colours to paint them. 

I painted the starfish pink. And my mum painted a little bit of my starfish. 

I painted the spikey fish and it was so fat. I painted it gold and brown. 

I painted Dory yellow and blue. 

They look cool! I liked painting them. They look good. I am proud of the things that I made. 

Tomorrow I will paint on the eyes and faces. 

I drew on the eyes with a pen.  

I painted some of the eyes white. 

I drew black in the white eyes too. 

I like them. 

AG DAY: 7. Making the decorations for my wreath

We made the decorations for my wreath. It is a Finding Nemo wreath. I made them out of clay. Tomorrow I will paint them when they dry. 

I made a Nemo. 

I made a Dory. 

I made a baby octopus. I copied off a picture on mummys phone. 

Mum helped me make starfish. I put them by the heater to dry. 

AG DAY: 6. Watering my garden

I have to water my plants every day. But I don't do it if it rains because it is already wet. 

AG DAY 5: Planting my Plants

I am organising the garden. 

I am digging the holes for the plants. Ted is in my Tshirt. 

I am putting the plants in. I had to be gentle not rough. 

I am covering it up with soil. I watered my garden. 

My second adventure with Ted

I took Ted home from school. 

Mum took some photos. 

I had a strawberry for afternoon tea with Ted. Ted had a strawberry too. 

I rode my bike with Ted. After I rode my bike I played on the trampoline and Ted played with me. 

Then I showed Ted my flowers. The flowers are for Ag Day. Ted helped me dig in my garden. 

AG DAY: 4. Buying my plants

We went to the Plant shop and my two sisters helped me. 

We told the man that I was making a Finding Nemo wreath. 

He got some beach grass. It likes water. 

He got some flowers. The flowers were orange and black and white like Nemo. 

I put the plants on the garden. I watered them. 

AG DAY: 3. Preparing the garden

The garden is very messy and it has got heaps of weeds. 

My mum, Holly, Phoebe and me pulled out all the weeds. It was hard. My hands got dirty. 

I pushed the wheelbarrow. 

The garden looks tidy. I can plant my Ag Day plants in there. 

AG DAY: 2. Gathering the wreath

We went to the beach. My two sisters and my dad and my mum came. 

I looked for wood and shells and seaweed to make my wreath.

AG DAY: 1. Planning my wreath

For Ag Day I am doing a wreath. 

I drew a picture of my wreath. 

I called it FINDING NEMO. 

My adventure with Ted

Ted is a teddy bear. He is my class room teddy bear. 

My teacher gave him to me. I have to look after him and draw a picture of him. 

My sisters liked Ted. They wanted to look after Ted. 

Ted watched me on the computer. 

Ted and me went to the beach. My sisters, my Dad and my Mum went too.

And Ted! 

This is Holly, Ted and me. I wore my warm clothes. 

Ted and me looked for shells and sticks. 

Phoebe put a hat on Ted so he kept warm. 

I had fun with Ted. I hope he comes again. 

BOOK WEEK: Curious George

At school it is going to be dress up day. I am going as The Man With the Yellow Hat. It is on my second day at school. 

He is from Curious George. I have two books but one is broken. I have a toy Curious George. 

I bought a hat today. I painted it yellow. I will paint it yellow tomorrow.  

The clothes were white. And now I made them yellow. 

I made them yellow with Dye. I had to stir them. 

I had a good idea to paint the tie. The dye didn't work. The tie didn't feel the same as the clothes. 

I coloured in dots on the tie. 

I looked cute in this! Holly went as Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Phoebe went as Madeline. 

I won a prize and a certificate.
